HAIPEEK Holder

HAIPEEK Holders for Cartridge Column:  The family of convenient cartridge holders from Higgins Analytical provide leak-free operation without requiring any tools. Their inert and robust design insures that the HAIPEEK holders will not oxidize and their threads will never gall.

Proven Seal Design:  The Holder's basic seal design is also used in many of the components of Higgins Analytical's highly automated column manufacturing equipment. Conditions used in HPLC column production often exceed the 10,000PSI pressure used for testing the HAIPEEK holder. And keep in mind that all this is achieved without having to tighten the assembly with wrenches!

Knuckle Breaking Device from the Net:  A well meaning chromatographer recently advised readers of a popular technical bulletin board on the Internet that his solution to the common problem of leaky guard holders from some manufacturers was to, ".....tighten the nuts until you think you are going to strip them. They never leak that way." Obviously this person had not yet tried the new Higgins Analytical HAIPEEK holder!

Format Flexibility:  The HAIPEEK holders are compatible with Higgins Analytical's PEEK guard and analytical cartridges as well our stainless steel HAICART guard cartridges. In addition, the stainless steel cartridges from several other manufacturers can also be used in these unique holders.

Guard Cartridge Holders:  Most applications benefit from the HAIPEEK Guard Holder's convenient ability to connect directly to the HPLC column. A HAIPEEK Guard Holder having female fittings on both ends is also available, however. This symmetrical version (P/N HK-GUARD-FF) is called for when a HAIPEEK Guard cartridge is used as a very short analytical column for fast separations. It also allows you to substitute a sample injection valve's sample loop with a HAIPEEK Holder, allowing guard cartridges to be used for sample enrichment applications.
